Rooftop solar cuts household electricity bills by average of 71%

The study was conducted by the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), which found that households that installed rooftop solar systems were able to reduce their electricity bills significantly. The study also found that the majority of households that installed rooftop solar systems did so in order to reduce their electricity bills, rather than for environmental reasons.
