The Supreme Court lifted the ban imposed on BJP Leader Anurag Thakur from holding office in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) The bench of CJI Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi was hearing an application by BJP MP Anurag Thakur seeking the lifting of the ban which was imposed as per paragraph 25 (ii) of the 2017 Supreme Court Order.
