Exception 2 to S.375 IPC (exempting sex with wife above 15 from rape definition) read down for wives between 15-18 years. POCSO S.42A overrides IPC — sex with a minor wife is an offence under POCSO S.3/4. Court also held the exception violated Articles 14, 15, and 21.
