Where parties reached mutual agreement to dissolve marriage and settle property dispute, the Supreme Court directed dissolution under Article 142. Transfer of jointly owned flat to wife was directed, waiving stamp duty under Section 17(2)(vi) of Registration Act, 1908, which exempts registration fees for decrees or orders of Court. The flat being subject of compromise within proceedings, exemption applied.
